Insurance & Investment Options

1. THE PRIVATE PAY ADVANTAGE
The Wise Mind Group operates exclusively as a private-pay, boutique practice. We do not contract with insurance companies.
While this may seem like a logistical detail, it is actually a strategic decision designed to protect your privacy and the quality of your care. By removing insurance companies from the room, we ensure that your treatment is dictated solely by your needs, not by arbitrary coverage limits or "medical necessity" checklists.
2. SESSION RATES
We offer a simplified, flat-rate fee structure for both Clinical Therapy (Lane A) and Coaching (Lane B).
Standard Session (60 Minutes): $275
A full hour dedicated to momentum and steady processing.
Deep Dive / Intensive (90 Minutes): $410
Recommended for EMDR, intake sessions, or complex strategic mapping where an hour feels too rushed.
Emergency Calibration (15 Minutes): $75
A brief, targeted check-in for urgent regulation or decision support between scheduled sessions.
3. INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT (SUPERBILLS)
While we do not bill insurance directly, many of our Clinical Therapy (Lane A) clients have PPO plans with "Out-of-Network" benefits that can cover a significant portion of the cost (often 50–80%).
How it works:
We Provide the Superbill: Upon request, we will generate a detailed monthly medical receipt ("Superbill") that includes all the necessary clinical codes (CPT/Diagnosis) required by insurance companies.
You Submit for Reimbursement: You simply upload this document to your insurance portal. If you have out-of-network coverage, the insurance company will mail a reimbursement check directly to you.
Note: Superbills are only available for Clinical Therapy. Coaching services are non-medical and cannot be billed to health insurance.
4. CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP (COACHING ONLY)
Many of our Executive Coaching clients utilize their company's professional development budget to cover their sessions.
Reimbursement Friendly: Upon request, we can provide invoices for Lane B (Coaching) services labeled as "Executive Leadership Training" or "Performance Consulting."
No Diagnosis: Because coaching is non-clinical, these invoices do not require a mental health diagnosis, allowing you to expense your growth without revealing personal health details to your employer.
5. WHY WE PRIORITIZE PRIVATE PAY
For high-functioning professionals, the "Insurance Model" carries hidden costs that often outweigh the financial savings. Paying privately offers three non-negotiable assets:
A. Radical Confidentiality When you use insurance, we are required to submit a formal mental health diagnosis (e.g., Major Depressive Disorder) to your permanent medical record.
Private Pay: No diagnosis is required for coaching. For therapy, your records remain strictly internal unless you choose to submit a Superbill.
The Benefit: Minimizes the paper trail in national insurance databases that could impact life insurance applications, security clearances, or future employment background checks.
B. Clinical & Strategic Freedom Insurance plans often dictate how we treat you—limiting the number of sessions or restricting effective modalities.
Private Pay: We have the freedom to schedule 90-minute deep dives, meet twice a week during a crisis, or pivot from therapy to coaching without asking for "authorization."
C. Availability By bypassing the administrative burden of insurance claims, we maintain a smaller, more exclusive caseload. This allows us to show up fully resourced for your session.
6. WHO IS THIS MODEL FOR?
Our structure is specifically designed for:
Executives & Founders: Who require absolute discretion regarding their mental health.
Public Figures: Who cannot risk data breaches or leaked insurance records.
Licensed Professionals: (Physicians, Attorneys, Pilots) whose licensure may be complicated by a documented mental health diagnosis.
Security Clearance Holders: Military or government personnel who need off-record support.
7. PAYMENT METHODS
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
