Neuroplastic Pain and Overcontrol: A 10-Week Skills Group
Effective August 28, 2026 · Mind-Body-Heart Therapy PLLC, DBA The Wise Mind Group

This Is Educational, Not Therapy

This group is a psychoeducational skills program. It is not psychotherapy, group therapy, or any other form of clinical mental health treatment. Registering for and attending this group does not create a therapist-client relationship between you and either facilitator, including Danielle Szasz, LMFT, regardless of her clinical license. If you are seeking individual psychotherapy, we encourage you to book a consultation for that separately.

Registration and Payment

Registration is a commitment to the full 10-week cohort, not a week-to-week membership. Your payment method will be charged $99 per session, billed weekly starting the day you register, not the day the cohort begins. Your total commitment is $990 across all ten charges, regardless of attendance. Once you register, payments are nonrefundable. We reserve your seat for the full cohort and do not add new members once a cohort begins.

Attendance and Recordings

We strongly encourage attendance at all ten sessions, as each week builds on prior material. Every session is recorded, and recordings are available to registered participants for up to one year, so an occasional missed session does not mean losing access to that week's material. This is a closed cohort. If you already know you will miss several sessions, we recommend waiting for a future cohort rather than registering for this one.

Confidentiality

All participants agree to protect the privacy of other members and not share identifying information or personal stories discussed in the group outside of it. This agreement is a condition of participation. Unlike confidentiality with an individual licensed provider, facilitators cannot guarantee what another participant does with information outside the group. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to share.

Nature of the Work

This program involves experiential practice, self-reflection, and at times emotional discomfort as part of the skills being taught. Participants will not be required to disclose anything they do not wish to share. Discomfort in service of learning is an expected part of the program and is not, on its own, a sign that something has gone wrong.

Medical Disclaimer

This program is not intended to diagnose the cause of any symptom or to replace appropriate medical evaluation and care. Participation in this group should never be used as a reason to delay or avoid medical evaluation for new, changing, or concerning symptoms. If you have a structural diagnosis or a medical condition that requires activity restrictions, please consult your physician about whether this program is appropriate for you before registering.

No Guarantee of Outcome

We do not guarantee that your symptoms will improve or resolve as a result of this program. Outcomes vary from person to person, and no facilitator can predict how any individual nervous system will respond to this or any other approach.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mind-Body-Heart Therapy PLLC, its facilitators, and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in this program. Your participation is voluntary, and you assume responsibility for your own decisions regarding your physical and emotional wellbeing during and after the program.

Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old to register.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your registration governs your participation in that cohort.
